I am with a service right now and have been on a lot of first dates that could have been second dates but I felt no spark. The one or two I liked more were either emotionally still caught up in someone else, or just didn’t click. I interviewed with a Leslie when I started that seemed to know her stuff, but since she and Megan left, I have gone out with some guys that I have literally NOTHING but maybe friendship in mind.

I have all but given up on finding Mr. Right. Most guys my age or older are not young at heart. Well, the ones I have been matched with anyway. I am 35 but I look YOUNG and that must bother the older ones. The younger ones just seem to be intimidated by my salary and accomplishments. It is a delicate balance. I want to spend my life with someone, but I don’t want to fear what they may bring to the relationship. I am single with no kids, and I would like to find someone with similar circumstances. Financially I have no real debt – and I have worked HARD to stay that way.

I spent a lot of money on this other service only to be disappointed. I am not really interested in going out on a slew of dates. What I want are a few GOOD dates with good looking men from a reasonable age close to mine who are confident in themselves and really interested in finding someone to spend time with. That is also a difficult balance.

I apologize for putting you on the spot... But this dating scene is wearing me out.
